Our Help In Time Of Need

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

If you are facing a challenge right now, I want you to know that you have a standing invitation from your heavenly Father to come boldly to the throne of grace to “obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”.

The phrase “help in time of need” means that you get healing when you are sick, provisions when you are in lack, restoration when your relationship with a loved one breaks down, and favor when news of job cuts or bad prospects are rife.

“Pastor Prince, how can I come boldly when I have been a lousy Christian?”

You can come boldly because you come to God by the blood of Jesus Christ and not by how you have lived your life. So whenever you come into God’s presence, you don’t have to be afraid that your sins will be exposed because the blood of Jesus has removed every one of them. God does not see even one speck of sin in you because He sees only the blood of His Son, which has been shed for your total forgiveness and acceptance.

My friend, when you have failed and need mercy, God’s Word assures you that you will find mercy when you come boldly to God. Mercy means that you don’t get the bad things you deserve, such as condemnation, poverty, failure, loss and even death.

And mercy is not the only thing that you will obtain when you come boldly to God. You will also find grace. Grace means that you get the good things that you don’t deserve, such as health, protection, anointing, favor, good success and life more abundant.

So come boldly to the One who loves you passionately, unconditionally and with an undying love. Come boldly to Him who knows everything about your situation and has the solution. He has wisdom far beyond that doctor you highly respect, that lawyer you greatly honor and the best experts you can consult. Beloved, come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and grace to help in your time of need!

But it's silent and you almost wish there was a noise to distract you from the pain. If there is a noise, it's internal. It screams and no one can hear it but you. It screams so loud your ears ring and your head aches. It trashes around in your chest like a great white shark caught in the sea; it roars like a mother bear whose cub has been taken. That's what it looks like and that's what it sounds like, a trashing, panicking, trapped great big beast, roaring like a prisoner to its emotions. But that's the thing about love - no one is untouchable. It's as wild as that, as raw as an open wound exposed to salty sea water, but when it actually breaks, it's silent. You're just screaming on the inside and no one can hear it.

i reached home feeling tired and excited
just bought my DIANA+
and received 2 parcels at home!
my argus 20 and my close up lens ..
took pictures and wanted to share
only to be led in huge disappointment and much despair
right now my mood is just going down down down

sequence of mood turning sour

1. argus
omg. its perfect
just like what i thought it would be
i love it.

2. close up lens
i saw a picture somewhere on a net where
a similar CU lens fitted perfectly on a fuji instax 7

i convinced myself it could work on camera too

but not only does it not fit,
when i tested it, my picture turned out black
-.- nevermind.
then i saw that the packaging of the lens says for fuji instax 50/55
what the hell. i remember asking hell alot of questions
one was if it could fit on a fuji instax
(i didnt state any model)
and the guy said NO
so i went to the site to check it out
then i noticed it only states for lomo lc-a
when i bought it, i thought to myself
"even if i cant use if for my fuji instax,
i can still use it for my holga"
but damn!
now im thinking where the hell did i see the word holga man
did i just pay for a freaking CU Lens for NOTHING
ughs! i feel so shitty

3. diana+
then i realised..
isnt diana+ supposed to come with ..

d. 12 & 16 shot format frames
e. shutter lock, neckstrap, lens cap
and i only received a diana+ and frames and neck strap and lens cap

and it isnt a bad choice too
but after i bought diana+ without research
realised i can only use ring flash with it
i thought why not just get a ring flash and use for both
but its already pre-ordered

Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Many Christians are familiar with Jesus’ rhetorical question, “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” But not many of us actually let it get into our hearts and allow the love of God to free us from our habit of worrying.

The truth is, no amount of worrying can lengthen your life or add anything to your physical person. Instead, worrying robs you of sleep, health and many good years. In fact, it is only when you are worry-free that God’s anointing flows freely in you, strengthening, healing, restoring and adding to you.

A church member, after undergoing a mammogram, found that she had lumps in her breast. Upon receiving the doctor’s report, she wrote this down on the report: “Jesus is my healer. I receive my healing. I am healed. I rest in God completely.”

She was due back at the clinic later the same day for a biopsy to see if the lumps were malignant. Her sister-in-law, who was having lunch with her that day, witnessed her cheerful and worry-free attitude while she ate her lunch.

Back at the clinic, this precious sister sat among other ladies who were also there for their biopsies. They looked very worried, so she started sharing Jesus with them and prayed for some of them. When her turn came and she had an ultrasound scan done, the doctor was puzzled — her scan showed no evidence of any lumps!

The doctor went back to consult her colleague who had first discovered the lumps. Stunned, both doctors conducted their own investigations. They returned to her only to say, “It’s a miracle!”

My friend, when you worry, you are actually believing that the devil has the power to make inroads into your life that God cannot protect you from. But when you refuse to worry, you are putting your faith in God. You have more confidence in His love and power working for you than in the devil’s ability to harm you! When you refuse to worry, but choose to rest in the finished work of Christ, you will see the manifestation of your blessing. You will see your miracle!

i was surfing around the net
trying to find out of the title of this korean drama
which i saw on tv accidentally many years ago

plot:
one of the twins, both girls and ugly
undergo plastic surgery and became beautiful
she fell in love with this rich guy
whose family is into the flower arranging
so the thing is..
the rich guy doesnt know she went through PS
and when he does, he avoids her or some sort
(cant remember the details exactly,
having watched it briefly so long ago,
THATS WHY IM TRYING TO LOOK FOR IT AGAIN
you get the point..)
she risks her reptuation by entering a tv show
which shows the before and after of girls going through PS
apparently its a disgraceful thing to do
(PS being so common, who ever knew huh)
im not sure if she went through PS again
to get her original looks back
but the rich guy has to make a decision
whether to accept her or not ....

utt and oli pettigrew came into the office today
and all of us (GIRLS ONLY) were going gaga crazy
lining up to take pictures with him

i was going around tell others that he was here

why some reactions were just a 'so?'
he's only human

ever wondered how my work place looks like?

are always standing around the pond
talking laughing smiling etc
and i just found out there are fishes and turtles living inside!
and the view is simply beautiful

we walk pass this place almost everyday
its such a pity we hardly notice it

went to mat's fave teppanyaki restaurant
with a different chief this time :)

because we spent most of the day sleeping
and the nights drinking
yes we drank every night

the guys couldnt wake up
but my body alarm seem to wake me latest by noon
waited out most of the afternoon watching tv and eating snacks

but i am happy
mat woke up early one of the days to accompany me to breakfast!
unfortunately the breakfast sucked =(

third day
because there was ying to wake those lazy bums up
WE WENT TO THE BEACH
woo hoo
it was a fantastic view
and we went around the water trying to find lalas
super fun!

mat and ying both came to a draw
on how much they found

at night
we had our very own bbq!
mat as the main chef!
and me as the refill drinks girl. hahaha

mat cleaned and scrubbed the lalas
it was cleaner than the ones they sell outside!
but because it was so tiny
they had to eat like 4 or 5 to get the la la taste
haha. but still very cool eh =P

we had steak ham corn bacon sausages chicken wings yada yada
like i said. we over bought

i ended up sharing cup noodles with zixuan later in the night
because both of us arent bbq people
we get full from the bbq smell

oh! and the burning bbq smoke killed my eyes
i had to wear zixuan's goggles so that it wouldnt hurt so much
kinda made me look like a space woman. haha

scared of losing anything there!
and mat only brought his DSLR
which was too big and bulky to bring around everywhere

clifton had just passed away

but after about 20 minutes
45 came and i saw it went amk depot

the inspector auntie suddenly realised i was still on the bus
and the last stop has already past
like wth? i couldnt even tell it was a last stop

mat and i went to eat yoshi @ ps
i was too poor to eat at restaurants
the food court was overly crowded
and i didnt wanna eat other fast foods.

i regreted it like hell.

1. the service SUCK big time
2. the servings was so little
3. when i asked for beef sauce, they gave me majority oil

i had actually poured the sauce into my beef bowl already
then at the sight of how much oil there was
i tried to use my spoon to take them out
and there was still lots suck in the beef bowl
see how disgusting it is!
i was seriously super pissed off by them that day
UGHS.

luckily mat was there
and he calmed me down
even exchanged his food with me
thank you sweeties. =DD

later we watched a movie with his cousins+bf/gf

i bladed in my sister's k2 (barrings 7) for 3/4 of the journey
and i didnt break a sweat!

was afraid of going too fast because ..

tommy asked me to smile =D heh.

it was actually pretty funny
tom mat jams tine jia josh and i were gonna meet and blade/cycle
but everyone was late except tom mat and i
so we had fun by ourselves
until i tripped over a twig and..
fell straight on my chin
i remember me feeling pain everywhere but there! lols
and the doctor had to glue my chin back together. ouch
trust me. the cost of the glue hurt me more. 60 bucks. wow
anyway. im almost healed now
woo hoo =)

as i was saying
my sister's legs got tired from wearing the cheapo blades
bought in carrefour (barrings 1)
so my kind soul offered to swop with her
and trust me i got enough exercise for the rest of the day
i could almost roll backwards on a steep slope
panting the whole way
and ate back the fats i burned with ICE CREAM =P

we went to this restaurant called stonegrill dining
near katong mall
YUMMY.

if i had only one word to describe it
the word would be smiles

the ceremony was just a formal ceremony
the day wouldnt have been special if there wasnt any his and byes

bryan and i met up on sat to catch up on life
and stopped at long johns for drinks

it funny that i saw him at LJs before
and that we went to LJs together once?

i found the movie like a ordinary romance flick
predictable story
typical ending

even though its known that the storyline is similar to my best friend's wedding
but i expected more out of it
like maybe a whole new perspective of the whole loving your best friend thing
at least it could've been different right?

but to be fair
it does have its humourous moments
and nice shots, nice scenary
good casting and art direction for the talents

im still disappointed in the movie
storyline is always most important to me

im thinking im in a coma. and im thinking it could be worse. a coma has its obvious drawbacks, but at least you get to catch up on your sleep. And if nothing else, its a spectacular excuse for eavesdropping. the downside is, most of the conversations are about urine.

i thought the fighting was rather realistic and good

the action may seem repetitive
and even like play fight

i thought the ending was a lil crappy
but all in all
still an okay show
wonder if its a low budget show

life was so simple then
whereas its just so difficult to make friends now

somehow i've lost the ability to socialise
its sad. i dont want it to be the case

as time passed, i created this wall around me
and said goodbye to e rest of the world
